30pts MLK TUCSON Weekend Overnighter

Event date:
Sat, 01/13/2024 - 8:00am to Mon, 01/15/2024 - 6:00pm

We're heading off to Tucson for a double overnighter!!!

The best hotel deal is the Days Inn Marana at 8370 North Cracker Barrel Rd - It is better to make your reservation with the hotel online to get the best rate - if you call the hotel directly it is a higher rate.  The rate is $111/night if you are a Wyndam rewards member. Join when you book. https://www.wyndhamhotels.com/days-inn/tucson-arizona/days-inn-and-suites-tucson-marana/overview

And, yes, there is a Cracker Barrel close! There is also a Texas Roadhouse  we will most likely eat on Sunday

There are also several hotels in the same area. La Quinta for $$186/night and Super 8 for $156/night. Both are also Wyndam hotels.

The chapter will depart  Railroad Pass Chevron at 8:00 am January 13th. We are planning to get to the Saguaro HD dealership between 4:30 and 5:00 pm. They close at 6 and are closed Sunday and Monday. The Chapter there wants to meet and do dinner with us – maybe Texas Roadhouse or possibly a BBQ.

Sunday, there are several options: Tombstone. About 85 miles from the hotel.  Stay in Tucson.  Ride through both sections of Saguaro National Park, stop at the San Xavier del Bac Mission, and go to the Pima Air and Space Museum.  Or explore on your own

Monday, we can leave a bit later since we gain the hour heading home.
